Low Voltage Technician
Schedule
Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (On-call/overtime as needed)
Role
Are you a natural problem-solver who loves figuring out how things work? We are seeking a Low Voltage Technician to help install and maintain high‑tech systems including fire alarms, security systems, CCTV, and access control.
No previous industry experience? No problem. While a technical background is great, we prioritize raw troubleshooting skills and a strong work ethic. We provide comprehensive on‑the‑job training and factory certifications to help you build a long‑term career in the field.
Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot & Repair: Diagnose and fix issues within complex electronic systems like fire alarms, intercoms, and security cameras.
Installation: Set up new systems from the ground up, following blueprints and industry codes (NFPA/Life Safety).
Maintenance: Perform routine testing and repairs to ensure all systems are operating at peak safety standards.
Documentation: Use personal computer skills to interpret software programs and maintain accurate service records.
Qualifications
Natural Problem Solver: You must be able to think critically and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
Physically Active: Comfortable climbing ladders, working in attics/crawlspaces.
Requirements: High School Diploma (or GED) and a valid Montana Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
Background Check: Ability to pass a criminal background and drug testing check for hire.
Commitment to Growth: Willingness to complete factory fire alarm and security training within 18 months of hire.
