Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant Manager to join our team at our 3900 South 7th Street location in Louisville, United States. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our store, delivering exceptional customer service, and leading our team to success.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily store operations and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Manage and motivate team members to maintain high performance standards.

Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally and efficiently.

Assist in inventory management and stock control.

Ensure cleanliness and organization of the store.

Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.

Manage cash transactions and maintain accurate financial records.

Assist in training and developing new team members.

Support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets and operational goals.

Implement and maintain safety and security procedures.

Adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Proven experience in customer service, preferably in the food service or retail industry.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in basic math and problem-solving.

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems.

Demonstrated time management and organizational skills.

Positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure.

Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).

Food safety certification (preferred).

What we are looking for

Experience leading a team; manage a staff of 3 to 15 people, motivating them and ensuring smooth operations.

Clean driving record and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record check. Ability to use a reliable, insured vehicle and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Act as a role model; be on time, maintain a positive attitude with customers and co‑workers, and dress professionally.

Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as the store operates 365 days a year.

Minimum age 18 years old.
