
Production Operator I

H.B. Fuller seeks a Production Operator to safely manufacture adhesives and sealants in a fast‑paced, team environment. You will operate batching, mixing, and packaging equipment to meet defined quality, safety, and throughput targets. This role requires consistent attention to detail, accurate documentation, and collaboration across shifts.
Primary Responsibilities
Operate mixers, reactors, and packaging lines per SOPs
Weigh and stage raw materials within 1% tolerance
Perform in‑process quality checks (viscosity, pH, appearance)
Complete batch records and ERP transactions accurately and on time
Conduct routine equipment changeovers and basic maintenance
Load/unload materials with powered industrial trucks
Follow 5S and housekeeping standards; promptly address spills
Adhere to lockout/tagout and all EHS procedures
Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
2-3 years manufacturing, warehouse, or related experience
Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand/walk for 8-12‑hour shifts
Read/interpret SOPs, scales, and gauges; basic math proficiency
Valid authorization to work in the U.S.
Preferred Requirements
2+ years batch processing or chemical manufacturing experience
Proficiency with ERP/data entry and barcode scanners
Current forklift/powered industrial truck certification
Prior hazmat handling or OSHA 10‑hour training
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location. The salary for this role is $21.75.
