Sr. Appian Administrator

Summary
Our client is seeking a Sr. Appian Administrator to work through support issues, clean up account management, and improve security. This role will maintain and optimize the Appian platform while managing deployments, monitoring performance, and ensuring security and user management best practices.
Responsibilities
Install, patch, and upgrade Appian software including application servers (JBoss or Tomcat).
Build and manage CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps) to automate application packaging and deployment.
Monitor system logs, health, and performance metrics while proactively resolving bottlenecks.
Manage user provisioning, role-based access control, and LDAP/SSO integration.
Maintain runbooks, system documentation, and standard operating procedures.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of Appian administration experience.
Proficiency in Appian architecture, Linux/Windows administration, and database management (PostgreSQL).
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred
Current Appian Corporate consultants.
Appian Certified Sr. Developer or Appian Certified Lead Developer certifications.
Cloud Certification (e.g., AWS Certified SysOps administrator).
Contract & Benefits
