Associate Criminal Defense Attorney

SUZUKI LAW, a well-established and respected law firm specializing in Criminal Defense and Personal Injury, is currently seeking to add a full-time Criminal Defense Associate Attorney. This position requires a minimum of three (3) years of experience in criminal defense and/or criminal prosecution.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical standards, along with strong oral advocacy and courtroom skills. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney to join a dynamic, very experienced and supportive legal team.
Key Responsibilities:
Represent clients in a variety of criminal matters from arraignment through trial or resolution.
Conduct legal research, draft motions, and prepare for hearings and trials.
Negotiate plea deals and interact with prosecutors, judges, and court personnel.
Communicate effectively with clients and keep them informed throughout the legal process.
Maintain the highest standards of client service and legal representation.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
Active member in good standing with the Arizona State Bar (or ability to waive in).
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in criminal defense and/or prosecution.
Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
Spanish fluency is a plus but not required.
