Staff Learning Architecture & Operations Partner

Intuit, San Diego, CA, United States

Overview
Intuit is on a mission to power prosperity around the world. Intuit Academy plays a critical role in building and scaling the expert talent ecosystem that supports TurboTax, QuickBooks, and the broader Intuit platform — with a goal of 100K certified experts annually across the Academy.

We are hiring a Staff Learning Architecture & Operations Partner to own the measurement, quality, and operational systems that tell us whether our learning is working. This role ensures that content arriving on the learner platform meets quality standards, that learner progress is measurable and visible, and that the data infrastructure supporting certification decisions is built right.

You will own three things: the learner analytics and measurement framework that tells us what’s working across our programs; the content quality gate that controls what enters the learner platform; and the data model partnership that ensures learner intelligence is structured, governed, and useful across the Academy.

This is a build role. The frameworks, rubrics, and data partnerships don’t fully exist yet. You will define them, get alignment across the organization, and make them operational. If you need a playbook before you can move, this isn’t the right fit. If you’d rather write the playbook, it is.

This role is analytical and systems-oriented — not instructional. You will not design curriculum or learning pathways. You will ensure the infrastructure that delivers and measures them works.

What You’ll Do
Own the Learner Analytics & Measurement Framework

Design and maintain the learner-side analytics framework — engagement, completion, and certification rates across Academy programs

Apply a structured learning effectiveness methodology (e.g., Kirkpatrick L1–L2) to assess learner reaction and knowledge gain across programs

Build dashboards and signal feeds that inform campaign decisions, learner experience quality reviews, and platform prioritization

Identify patterns and anomalies proactively — surface findings before they’re asked for

Define data governance standards: what gets measured, in what system, and how it flows to business stakeholders

Own the Content Quality Gate

Define the quality rubric for content entering the learner platform — structure, accessibility, assessment alignment, and metadata completeness

Operate the intake gate: review, approve, or send back content submissions from upstream content development teams before they reach learners

Write criteria clearly enough that upstream teams can self-qualify before submission — the gate should reduce rework, not just block it

Flag systemic quality issues back upstream; recommend process changes when the same defects appear repeatedly

Coordinate with learner experience and success partners to ensure the rubric reflects what learners actually need, not just technical compliance

Own the Learner Data Model Partnership

Define how learner data is structured, surfaced, and governed within the unified learning platform

Translate the team’s analytical and operational needs into platform and data model requirements for engineering partners — you speak both sides

Ensure learner data supports Academy use cases without requiring duplicate instrumentation

Sustain this as an ongoing partnership as the platform evolves

Ensure data flows are documented, defensible, and accessible to business stakeholders who depend on learner intelligence

Qualifications
What You Bring
Required

6+ years in learning operations, learning analytics, instructional systems, or a closely adjacent function

Demonstrated experience building measurement frameworks from scratch — you’ve defined the metrics, not just pulled them

Experience operating a quality or intake function: content review, acceptance criteria, or standards governance in a learning or content environment

Ability to influence without authority across organizational boundaries — you’ve held a standard with a peer team and navigated the friction

Strong data fluency: comfortable with an LMS, CRM, or BI platform; can translate data findings into business decisions

Clear, direct communicator who can write a framework document and present findings to senior leadership without over-explaining

Preferred

Experience with Kirkpatrick evaluation or an equivalent learning effectiveness methodology

Familiarity with enterprise data or BI platforms in a learning or talent context

Background in a multi-product or platform environment where learner data serves more than one business unit

Experience in tax, accounting, financial services, or professional credentialing environments

Knowledge of assessment validity, psychometric practices, or credentialing standards
