Functions and Duties
Represents banks and mortgage loan servicers in all stages of the foreclosure process, including contested cases.
Manages and maintains foreclosure files in accordance with industry compliance requirements.
Reviews and executes legal documents and pleadings, including but not limited to motions, notices, and affidavits.
Prepares responses to discovery requests.
Prepares for and attends court hearings, mediations, depositions, and non‑jury trials.
Compiles and reviews documents required to complete the foreclosure process.
Prosecutes cases in a timely manner to ensure compliance with client timeline requirements.
Properly utilizes firm’s case management system and reporting to ensure all applicable deadlines are met.
Reviews information in the firm’s case management system and client systems to ensure data integrity and consistency.
Researches and analyzes statutes, case law, and regulatory requirements.
Legal research and legal writing.
Ability to respond to client inquiries in a timely and professional manner via client platforms, phone, and email.
The ideal candidate should possess
0-2 years of foreclosure experience
Admission to the Florida Bar
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
Time management skills
Knowledge of civil procedure and rules of evidence
