Job Description
We are seeking a Litigation Associate with 3–7 years of experience in a defense-oriented law firm in our NYC, Central NJ, or Rye office locations. Candidates should have meaningful experience handling civil litigation matters through all phases of litigation and will be comfortable working on complex and sensitive cases.
The ideal candidate should have experience managing a civil caseload under the supervision of senior attorneys; drafting pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and legal memoranda; conducting and defending depositions of parties, fact witnesses, and experts; attending court appearances, hearings, mediations and settlement conferences; conducting legal research and analysis on complex issues. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with senior attorneys and trial teams while developing advanced litigation skills.
Experience in one or more of the following areas preferred:

Labor and employment law
Education law
Sexual abuse and misconduct defense

Pay:
$125,000.00 - $185,000.00 per year
New York Bar required.
