## Job Description# Supply Chain Data Governance Specialist**Location:** Pleasanton, California (On-site)
**Employment Type:** Contract* Lead data stewardship and data governance initiatives within the retail supply chain domain.* Utilize a strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes, including procurement, planning, and logistics.* Interpret complex data to provide actionable recommendations.* Communicate and present findings effectively to leadership.* Drive process improvements and enhance data management practices.* Work with data modeling, metadata management, and data quality platforms.* Deep expertise in data modeling and metadata management.* Experience with data governance and data-quality platforms.* Working knowledge of SQL and data-profiling techniques is preferred but not mandatory.* Experience with ATLAN is a plus.* Lean or Six Sigma experience is a plus.* Experience building process-related AI agents is a plus.*Apex Systems is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
