Job Title: Contract Paralegal (Onsite – Glendale, CA)
Direct Counsel is representing a reputable defense firm seeking a Contract Paralegal for a short-term assignment. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative legal team and contribute to active litigation matters in a fast-paced environment.
Location
Glendale, CA (onsite, Monday–Friday, regular business hours)
Duration
Several months
Compensation
$30–$35/hour
Start Date
Immediate (following a successful interview)
Key Responsibilities
Provide litigation support, including document preparation, filing, and case management
Assist attorneys with discovery, pleadings, and trial preparation
Perform general administrative duties to support the legal team
Maintain organized case files and ensure timely handling of deadlines
Qualifications
Prior paralegal experience, preferably within a defense firm or litigation setting
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
