Key Responsibilities
Engine Expertise: Maintain and repair Cummins, Caterpillar, John Deere engines as well as outboard motor experience
Systems Knowledge: Handling low voltage electrical systems, pneumatic air systems, hydraulic systems, and plumbing systems efficiently.
Welding and Cutting
Safety and Environmental Protection: Uphold crew safety, vessel safety, and environmental protection standards.
Machinery Maintenance: Perform maintenance and repair of all vessel machinery, equipment, and structural components within engineering spaces.
Requirements
Diesel engine repair: 1 year (Preferred)
Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)
Willingness to travel and spend time out of town on repairs as needed
Valid Driver License
Valid TWIC Card
Must have a Satisfactory Background Check
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team
Physical fitness and the ability to handle the demands of working on a vessel
Subject to Random Drug Screening
