Title: Tool Crib Attendant | Location: Independence, MO | Salary: $49,800 - $59,200 | Schedule: 4 - 10 hour shifts
Overview

As a Tool Crib Attendant, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory records and stock levels, ensuring the proper receipt and outgoing of materials requested. You will support the parts needs for operations and maintenance utilizing the CMMS and ERP systems, maintain parts usage by issuing parts/tooling to plant employees and charging to proper charge codes, and maintain constant communication with the buyer group and the logistics teams to continuously improve procurement times.
Essential Functions

Maintain accurate inventory records of Operations Tooling and Maintenance Spare Parts. Manage the issuance, documentation, and inventory of store items, ensuring appropriate stock levels for plant employees and ordering parts or tooling as needed.
Track, research and correct/escalate inventory levels, discrepancies utilizing excel database comparison tools.
Receive, unpack, verify, stock incoming tools and parts, marking and identifying them as required, and requisition stock to replenish inventory.
Maintain cleanliness and safety of equipment and work areas, adhering to safety regulations and wearing proper safety equipment.
Review parts usage history and aid in identifying and stocking Critical Spares.
Execute inventory cycle counts 100% on time as scheduled.
Minimum Requirements

Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
Experience working in a stock room preferred.
Basic understanding of standard concepts and best practices in a stockroom or warehouse environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills which will be used with off-plant Suppliers and on-plant customers.
Competency with data entry, analysis and management.
Experience with computer systems and Microsoft products.
Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 35 pounds.
Location‑Specific Requirements

Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license.
This position requires successful vetting as an Employee Possessor in accordance with U.S. Department of Justice and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
This position requires access to ITAR controlled technical data, and as such, employment will be contingent upon the candidate's ability to access ITAR controlled technical data pursuant to an export license approved by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, if required.
This position requires successful vetting for unescorted access in accordance with U.S. Army and Department of Defense access policies. The US Government does not allow non‑U.S. citizens on‑site at the Lake City Army Ammunition Plant. Therefore, to be considered in the hiring process, the candidate must be a U.S. citizen.
