The Central Sterile Surgical Supply Tech is an integral part of the Sterile Processing team at Mercy Medical Center. This role involves participating in the Central Supply team to enhance customer and physician satisfaction through high‑quality service and adherence to Mercy Health Services values.
Responsibilities
Participate as part of the Central Supply team to increase customer/physician satisfaction.
Provide customer service in accordance with Mercy Health Services values.
Requirements
Education and Work Experience:
Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
Materials management experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize one or more of the following.
Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language clearly.
Must be able to work independently and make independent decisions when required.
Must have strong communication skills and be able to deal tactfully with personnel, visitors, patients, physicians, customers, and the general public.
Must be flexible, have personal integrity, and function effectively as part of a team.
Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
Compensation
USD $17.83 per hour – USD $26.75 per hour.
