Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking an Architecture Intern to join our Land Development team in our Staunton, VA office. Westwood has a highly experienced and dynamic team of individuals dedicated to providing high-level professional services to our clients. Our Architecture team works closely with civil, structural, and survey teams to deliver creative, functional, and sustainable designs.
Requirements
Duties and Responsibilities
You can expect to assist in the design and planning of buildings and spaces within residential, commercial, or mixed‑use developments.
Helping with site analysis
Creating architectural drawings and models
Assisting with conceptual designs
Drafting floor plans, elevations, and other technical documents
Collaborating with architects and engineers to ensure designs are functional, aesthetically pleasing, and compliant with zoning laws and regulations
Required Skills
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and other discipline specific software
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Products
Preferred Experience
Currently working toward a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
