In order to ensure your application is complete, you must complete the following:## Job Title:IT Service Support Analyst 2## Department:Veterinary Medicine | College AdministrationThe Veterinary Information Systems department is seeking a Tier 2 service team member to assist with our day to day operation and increase our Apple support portfolio.The successful candidate should have a strong background in Apple device management/service/support in addition to the following duties. Identifies, analyzes, and addresses problems using a wide range of analysis and solution strategies. Designs, plans, and develops, or coordinates the development, of client computing needs with a strong emphasis on, but not limited to, Apple products. Utilizes software tools such as Jamf Pro and Microsoft SCCM to manage and implement patches, updates, software installations and comply with University security requirements. Advanced operating system (MacOS and Windows) and application troubleshooting, detailed understanding of encryption and networking in MacOS, the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot peripherals and integration with other business and enterprise systems. Monitors system performance; anticipates needs and upgrades. Collaborates with Infrastructure and Applications Team, Administration and Faculty to design and implement new concepts and ideas. Some evening and weekend hours may be required for event support.**Salary Range: $26.78 - $34.95 per hour**; commensurate with experience, internal equity, the unit’s available budget, and the candidate’s qualifications.**This is a hybrid position and will require a regular on-site presence.**## Additional Information:**Minimum Education Required:**Bachelor's Level Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.**Required Qualifications:**Strong communications skills both oral and written; 2 years of relevant experience in a multi-platform environment, excellent working knowledge of Windows and Mac OS. **Desired Qualifications:**Administrator experience with Jamf Pro. Experience with Microsoft SCCM, Crowdstrike. Apple support certifications. Experience in clinical operation setting dealing with instrument integrations and software configurations.## Location:Veterinary Medical Center (0299)## Position Type:Term (Fixed Term)## Scheduled Hours:40## **Shift:**First Shift***Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check.
