Sunbelt Rentals – the fastest‑growing rental business in North America – is seeking a Technician.
This Technician role performs preventive maintenance, advanced diagnostics, and complex repairs on a fleet that includes Aerial Work Platforms, general construction tools, large‑scale power‑generators, pumps, HVAC systems and oil/gas related equipment.
Qualifications
Education or experience that prepares you for success:
High school diploma or GED required; some trade school or equivalent training desired
5+ years of Technician experience with similar diesel equipment and/or heavy equipment or specialty lines equipment (large‑scale generators, pumps, HVAC or Oil & Gas equipment) strongly preferred
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Ability to provide tools of the trade (may need to provide tools)
Advanced knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting skills
Advanced knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting skills
Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment
Physical demands: bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors as required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to comply with applicable laws.
Base Pay Range: $24.05 - $33.06. Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
