
Production Supervisor

Job Description
The Production Supervisor oversees daily production operations and supervises production employees to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing. This role coordinates workflow, labor, and materials to maximize productivity while controlling costs and meeting delivery goals.
Essential Duties
Production Supervision of PSM Process.
Ensure compliance with environmental, health, safety, quality, and company policies, including Process Safety Management (PSM) required elements.
Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet safety, quality, productivity, and delivery goals.
Lead, train, and coach production employees, including performance management and evaluations.
Monitor production processes and product quality, directing adjustments when necessary.
Maintain production documentation, reporting, and timekeeping records.
Material Management
Plan and assign work based on production schedules, labor needs, and material availability.
Coordinate the movement of materials through the production process.
Monitor inventory through periodic cycle count and inventory adjustment.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including R&D, Maintenance, Shipping/Receiving, Customer Service, and Engineering.
Identify and support improvements to production processes, equipment performance, and operational efficiency.
Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field or equivalent experience.
Minimum 4 years of relevant manufacturing or production experience.
Prior experience leading or supervising production teams preferred.
Experience in chemical or industrial manufacturing environments preferred.
Familiarity with ERP systems (NAV, SAP, or similar).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Teams).
Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
