MCC is looking for a Maintenance Tech/Electrician. The main duties of the Technician are to ensure that all electrical schematics and instrumentation are calibrated and current, troubleshooting during unscheduled equipment downtime, repairs and complete preventive maintenance service.

Responsibilities
Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production.
Perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service in a multi-shift environment.
Perform duties including, but not limited to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of machines.
Support an optimized production environment by applying the principles of Lean Manufacturing and 5S.
Responsible for maintaining and performing repairs to the facility.
Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
One or more years of demonstrated experience in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic applications.
Ability to read electrical schematics; vocational maintenance training certificate preferred.
Basic knowledge of computers and operating systems.
Ability to multi-task and identify and execute process improvements as needed.
Strong problem‑solving skills to assess product output relative to specifications.
Physical ability to climb stairs, bend, sit, stand, walk, reach with arms, push, pull and use hands and fingers to handle material for extended periods.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds repeatedly and regularly.
Includes ability to stoop, squat, crawl and kneel as needed.
Requires frequent walking.
Physical Demands
The physical demands require standing, using hands to finger, feel and touch; reach with arms and hands; talk and hear. This position requires frequent walking. Occasionally the employee is required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Must be able to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision requirements are close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
