We are seeking a highly skilled and specialized HP Indigo 12k Operator to join our production team.
This technical role is critical to our operation, focusing on the seamless running, meticulous maintenance, and expert troubleshooting of our 29‑inch B2 HP Indigo digital press. The ideal candidate is dedicated to achieving high-quality, color‑accurate output and maximizing press uptime through efficiency and preventative care.
Salary: $59,000 – $63,000 per year. Shift: First. Work hours: 7 AM – 4 PM. Education: High School.
Responsibilities
Press Setup & Operation:
Calibrating the press, loading substrates, managing inks, and producing high‑quality commercial jobs.
Maintenance:
Performing daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance routines to ensure peak performance.
Quality Control:
Monitoring production to maintain color consistency and accuracy, and performing post‑print inspections.
Troubleshooting:
Identifying and resolving technical issues, often in coordination with HP support.
Required Experience and Skills
Experience Needed: Typically 1–2+ years with Series 4 (10K, 12K, 15K) Indigo presses is preferred.
HP Certification (1 year of experience is required).
Proficiency with digital press software, understanding of color management, and ability to interpret job tickets.
Standing for 8 hours at a time, entering data, monitoring, troubleshooting, and quality control tasks.
Qualifications
Years of experience: 2 years.
Experience level: Experienced.
Education: High School.
