
Fleet Coordinator

Job Summary:
The Fleet Coordinator will be responsible for assisting the Fleet Manager with all aspects of fleet vehicle care including but not limited to vehicle repair, insurance claim submissions, and GPS/ Camera monitoring.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Responsible for filing auto accident claims with other party’s insurance carrier, documenting the process and following it through until completed and paid out.
Keep updated records on repair status, location, completion dates, and payments due.
Maintain the auto accident folders and verify what units have been repaired/completed. Add notes to the file so anyone reviewing it knows the status.
Regardless of insurance payment status, have vehicles scheduled for repairs to limit down time of unit. Make appointments and schedule vehicle drop off.
Review and maintain the Verizon Fleetmatics system to ensure GPS and Camera units are reporting correctly.
GPS/Camera’s- Identify what units are not reporting or have errors.
Schedule repairs or replacements of down cameras or GPS trackers.
Ensure all vehicles with damaged GPS are grounded until repairs are made.
Identify units without cameras and have cameras installed by Verizon or 3rd party installer.
Review dash cam videos weekly. Report on videos that contain egregious driving behavior, to include distractions/inattentiveness, near misses, collisions or traffic violations.
Generate reports on a weekly basis as requested by HR or management team.
Give weekly status updates on GPS and Cameras not reporting, complete measures to correct issues to the manager.
Oversee the company tolls accounts for EZ Pass and Sunpass.
Other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Must be reliable and demonstrate integrity.
Must be knowledgeable regarding vehicle repairs both mechanical and body.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Must be able to learn web-based program for GPS/ Camera oversight.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Must have time management skills and multitasking
Must have excellent communication skills via email and text.
Must follow up on tasks and assignments in a timely manner.
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
At least 3 years of related experience in clerical/ admin work.
Experience with auto insurance a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a
Clean driving record required.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
USD $20.00/Hr. - $22.00/Hr.
