Electrical Engineer – Embassy Compound
Tetra Tech is seeking an Electrical Engineer with a US Government Secret Security Clearance for the construction of the New US Embassy Compound in Podgorica, Montenegro. The role is a minimum 1‑year engagement with possibility up to 15 months.

New Chancery
Demolition of existing chancery and temporary annex buildings
Marine Security Guard Residence (MSGR)
Shop Facilities and Utility Building (UTL)
Waste Treatment Facility
Recreation Facilities
Security Upgrades
Housing and transportation allowances provided
Uplift includes 10% of base salary
Benefits: medical, dental, vision, 30 days paid time off a year, paid round‑trip flights home
Position Description
You will:
Provide the NEC project with a full range of critical engineering, construction quality assurance, and technical oversight.
Perform technical inspections of electrical work, monitor construction contractor’s quality control program, and review project drawings to ensure compliance.
Observe on‑site construction and verify proper installation of construction elements.
Monitor construction progress relative to schedule and submit weekly progress reports with recommendations based on technical review of project documents and field inspections.
Requirements
US Government Secret Clearance or higher
US Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
Current US P.E. license may substitute for degree
7 years construction experience
ABET accredited international degree accepted in lieu of US Bachelor’s or US P.E.
