
Production Associate (night shift)

Role Overview
The Production Associate will set up and control operation of single or multiple production machines for the process of manufacturing products.
Responsibilities
The job is a standing/sitting position requiring operation of an extruder machine to process plastic into solid profiles used in automotive, furniture, and bedding components.
Upon completion of a roll or container, close the roll or container and place it on a shipping container.
Produce quality product and identify defects; notify the appropriate person to fix the machine if necessary.
Operate the grids machine as required.
Ensure compliance with environmental policy and procedures and the environmental management system.
Qualifications
Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude.
Ability to use measuring tools and understand and follow simple blueprints.
Commitment to 100% quality, continuous improvement, safety, and good housekeeping.
Physical ability to lift 70 lb and/or move up to 1,000 lb of equipment on wheels if required.
Team‑work skills and participation in continuous improvement projects; maintain a good attendance record and willingness to learn.
Dexterity and mechanical understanding to operate automated machines.
Ability to understand verbal and written instructions, including construction blueprints and documentation of ongoing processes.
Aptitude to identify proper product quality.
Willingness to engage in skills improvement classes and initiatives such as IATF‑16949/ISO‑9001:2015, Kaizen, and SMED.
Working schedule: Monday–Thursday, 4:45 pm–3:15 am or 6:45 pm–5:15 am.
Shift differential of $2.00 per hour.
