Job Description
Full‑time, Monday–Friday, various shifts. Trailer A Mechanic, earn up to $29.26/hr.
Earn 1 week of PTO after 90 days of employment and enjoy an excellent benefits package that includes our own employee resorts.
R+L Carriers has an immediate opportunity for Trailer Mechanics at our Wilson, NC Service Center. As a Trailer Mechanic, your responsibilities will include the diagnostic process, repair work, and overall maintenance of our trailers.

Requirements
Experienced in performing safety inspections of equipment and preparing safety documents required by the FMCSA, company, and any other Federal, State, or Local regulations.
Must be able to interpret technical manuals.
Must have experience in repairing or replacing defective parts, components, or systems.
Experience in testing equipment for proper performance and to ensure that the work meets manufacturer’s specifications and legislated regulations.
Experience in trailer PMs and repairs.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Must own your own tools.
Must be dependable.
Must be prepared to work in varied climate situations when needed.
Preferred
Experience using Cetaris Maintenance Work Order System.
Welding.
Experience driving yard tractor/trailers.
Previous experience working on Class 8 commercial vehicles.
Sheet metal and composite panel repair.
