Dockworker – Part‑Time, No CDL – TForce Freight
Starting Rate: $15.40 per hour
Job Summary
TForce Freight, a less‑than‑truckload (LTL) freight carrier in North America and a subsidiary of TFI International, seeks a full‑time Dockworker. The role ensures freight is loaded safely and efficiently so customers receive goods on time and in good condition. This position involves operating powered warehouse equipment such as forklifts, cherry pickers, hydraulic jacks, and extended belts, as well as using tractors for vehicle maneuvering.
Key Responsibilities
Operate yard trucks to manage dock needs and maintain a safe, clean environment.
Print BOLs for daily deliveries.
Process and palletize all damaged, penny‑worth, and RTV merchandise.
Follow all safety protocols to ensure a secure workplace.
Help maintain and care for dock equipment.
Unload cargo using cranes or forklifts.
Secure shipments upon arrival.
Job Requirements
No CDL required.
Impeccable customer service and dedication.
Ability to perform essential job functions without obvious risk of injury to self or co‑workers.
Ability to read, write, and speak English.
U.S. citizenship or authorization to work in the U.S.
Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
Forklift operator certification.
Customer‑focused, team‑oriented work ethic.
Safety‑focused.
Minimum age 18.
