Shaner Hotels is offering an opportunity to join our team at the McHenry Row Courtyard by Marriott in Baltimore. This outstanding new 126‑room property is located in the McHenry Row development and is less than a mile from the Maryland Cruise Terminal and less than 2 miles from M&T Stadium and Horseshoe Casino.
Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and overnight hours.
Handle guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction.
Process all check-ins and check-outs according to established hotel requirements.
Adhere to payment, cash handling and credit policies/procedures.
Generate, print, and distribute daily reports to designated departments/personnel.
Other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
The Night Auditor attends to the needs of guests, balances the revenue and expense transactions that occurred during the day, and performs all the functions of the front desk staff during the audit shift. The Night Auditor possesses good communication and guest service skills and has the ability to take appropriate action to meet and exceed guest expectations.
Qualifications
High school graduate or equivalent.
Minimum one year of customer service experience; previous hotel experience preferred.
Ability to communicate with guests, management, and co‑workers effectively.
Computer experience preferred.
Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.
