Sigma Defense is seeking a
Systems Engineer
will provide full-spectrum systems engineering, technical analysis, and programmatic support across the lifecycle of Navy Above Water Sensor and Combat System programs. This role conducts engineering analyses, supports requirements development, contributes to system design and technical review processes, and integrates Model-Based Systems Engineering and digital engineering practices. The systems engineer assists with risk management, trade studies, system performance assessments, and technology evaluations. Additional responsibilities include supporting test and evaluation planning, modeling and simulation activities, cybersecurity engineering and RMF documentation, and technical input for acquisition milestones. The position works closely with government stakeholders, industry partners, and cross-functional teams to ensure technically sound, timely, and mission-aligned solutions portfolio products.
This is a contingent position that is pending award of contract. This means that the position is subject to the successful awarding of a contract and will be confirmed once the contract is finalized. The candidate selected for this role will be offered the position on the condition that the contract is awarded to our organization.

Requirements
Must be a U.S. citizen and possess one of the following:
A) a high school degree, or a GED, and 20 years of relevant Surface Radars, Electronic Warfare, EO/IR, Decoys and/or Laser software system/subsystem design, development, production and/or test experience.
B) a bachelor's degree in engineering, scientific, or technical discipline and 15 years of relevant Surface Radars, Electronic Warfare, EO/IR, Decoys and/or Laser software system/subsystem design, development, production and/or test experience.
C) a master's degree in engineering, scientific, or technical discipline and 10 years of relevant Surface Radars, Electronic Warfare, EO/IR, Decoys and/or Laser software system/subsystem design, development, production and/or test experience.
Desired Qualifications:
Demonstrated knowledge of Navy/DoW policy and guidance.
System Engineering Technical Reviews.
Technology readiness and technical performance measures.
Combat Systems Integration and requirements decomposition.
Model Based Systems Engineering.
Program Protection.
Risk Management Process.
Personnel Clearance Level:
Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active Secret security clearance.
Clearance may be sponsored for the right candidate.
Salary Range:
$135,000 - $160,000 annually.
