As a member of the Engineering Team, this role will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, installation, and operation of electrical components throughout the hotel complex and outlying areas.

What You Will Be Doing
Respond to customer complaints in a timely manner.
Execute the installation of electrical panels and associated piping and wiring as directed.
Assist the Convention Service department as required.
Plan, direct, and record periodic electrical testing, and recommend or initiate modification or replacement of equipment which fails to meet acceptable operating standards.
Assist Housekeeping department to resolve lighting problems as required.
Conduct shop inventories as directed.
Comply with established safety rules and health regulations of The BROADMOOR Hotel and Engineering department.
Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Uphold and abide by all Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
Other duties as assigned.

What We Are Looking For
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Level 1 - Must have experience with basic wiring of outlets/sockets to ensure a safe work environment.
Level 2 - Requires 3 years experience in the field and/or an Electrical certificate from a trade school. Previous hand‑on experience required.
Valid Driver’s License required.
Any employee driving a Broadmoor vehicle must be 18 years or older.
The employee is occasionally required to lift up to 25 lbs. and occasionally required to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs.
