Job Description
This role focuses on installing, servicing, and maintaining illuminated signage systems, including LED channel letters, pylon signs, and large‑scale custom signage. You will perform electrical troubleshooting and repairs in the field, interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams, and collaborate closely with installation and fabrication teams to deliver safe, reliable, and high‑quality projects. The position involves working at heights, operating lifts and related equipment.
Responsibilities
Install, service, and maintain illuminated signage (LED channel letters, pylons, custom signs).
Troubleshoot electrical and low‑voltage systems, including LED lighting.
Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and project specs.
Operate lifts and work safely at heights and in outdoor conditions.
Perform electrical testing, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance.
Apply NEC codes and local electrical regulations.
Support installation and fabrication with basic mechanical and fabrication skills.
Document work and communicate clearly with the team.
Required Skills
Electrical wiring, installation, and troubleshooting experience.
Ability to read electrical drawings and specs.
Knowledge of NEC codes and low‑voltage/LED systems.
Proficiency with meters and diagnostic tools.
Safe lift operation and comfort working at heights.
Strong organization, time management, and communication.
