Acoustic Engineer: Noise Compliance & Policy Lead

Prince William County is seeking an Acoustic Engineer to enforce the County Noise Ordinance. The successful candidate will lead efforts in managing environmental noise impacts, gather and analyze sound data, and develop policies while contributing to public health and safety. A Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 3 years of experience in acoustics are required. The role includes full-time work with a salary range of $91,162.50 – $152,509.50. A hiring bonus of $3,000 is also offered.
