Event Lead Capture Associate – Trade Shows & Conventions
We are seeking professional, energetic, and dependable individuals to join our team as Event Lead Capture Associates supporting our client’s presence at upcoming trade shows and conventions. In this role, you’ll serve as the first point of contact for attendees entering the booth or designated areas, ensuring a welcoming experience while accurately capturing attendee information using handheld scanning devices.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Capture:
Greet attendees proactively and scan badges to collect contact details and areas of interest for sales and marketing follow‑up.
Attendee Engagement:
Initiate brief, friendly conversations to understand visitor needs and guide them to the appropriate team member or product demonstration.
Data Accuracy:
Ensure each scan is properly recorded and complete; manually enter information or add qualifying notes when needed.
Equipment Handling:
Maintain and monitor assigned scanning devices, reporting any technical issues promptly to the supervisor.
Traffic Flow Support:
Assist in managing booth traffic during busy periods to maintain an organized and positive attendee experience.
Requirements & Qualifications
Professionalism: Strong interpersonal skills with a polished and professional demeanor
Stamina: Ability to stand and stay active throughout a full trade show shift (6–8 hours)
Technical Comfort: Familiarity with mobile apps, handheld scanners, or tablets
Communication: Clear and confident English communication skills across diverse audiences
Reliability: Punctual and committed to working all scheduled event dates
Preferred Skills
Positive, high‑energy attitude in fast‑paced and sometimes noisy environments
Working Conditions
Environment: Indoor convention centers or exhibit halls
Schedule: Temporary / project‑based (April 21–23, 2026)
Physical Demands: Extended periods of standing and walking
