Responsibilities
Client Partnership & Risk Strategy
Support client education and enrollment activities for individual life, health, and Medicare‑related products.
Assist clients in understanding coverage options, plan changes, and enrollment requirements.
Serve as a liaison between clients, carriers, and internal teams to resolve questions and service issues.
Provide claims assistance and follow‑up support to ensure timely resolution and client satisfaction.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, prospects, carrier representatives, and internal partners.
Operational Excellence
Review, analyze, and interpret insurance policies, coverage documents, and regulatory materials with strong attention to detail.
Prepare client correspondence, reports, and benefit‑related documentation accurately and efficiently.
Maintain organized records and documentation within agency systems and tools.
Support assigned projects such as lead list management, reporting, marketing activities, and workflow support.
Participate in phone and mail rotations, as applicable, to support team service coverage.
Strategic Contribution
Support sales and retention efforts by delivering reliable, responsive service for existing accounts.
Assist with interpreting annual plan changes and supporting enrollment periods.
Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance service processes and client experience.
Support team goals through collaboration, flexibility, and consistent follow‑through.
Qualifications
What You Bring – Required
Associate’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
Two to three years of experience in insurance, sales support, benefits administration, or customer service.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a client‑focused mindset.
Ability to read, analyze, and explain insurance policies, coverages, and related documentation.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet‑based systems.
Active state Life, Health & Accident insurance license (or ability to maintain).
Ability to obtain and maintain required certifications, including AHIP, carrier‑specific certifications, and Marketplace certification.
Preferred
Prior insurance agency experience.
Experience supporting individual life, health, or Medicare products.
Familiarity with agency management systems and basic marketing tools.

Additional Information
Compensation
Hourly range: $24 – $28 per hour.
