Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced

Bookkeeper/Accountant with hospitality industry experience

to manage the day-to-day financial operations of our hotel property. This role is critical in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with franchise requirements, and supporting overall business performance.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain the general ledger and accurately record all financial transactions

Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and vendor payments

Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner

Prepare and deliver

monthly financial statements and reporting packages

Oversee and process

payroll , ensuring accuracy and compliance

Audit and verify

franchise fees, royalties, and brand-related expenses

Track expenses, budgets, and cash flow to support operational decisions

Maintain organized financial records, including contracts, invoices, and receipts

Coordinate with external CPA/tax professionals as needed

Ensure compliance with internal controls and hospitality accounting standards

Qualifications

Required:

Proven experience in bookkeeping/accounting within the

hotel or hospitality industry

Strong understanding of financial reporting, general ledger accounting, and reconciliations

Experience preparing

monthly financials

independently

Familiarity with

franchise/brand reporting and fee structures

Payroll experience requiredProficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel

Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities
