
Financial Advisor

This financial advisor position is open for 30 days starting 22-Apr-2026. We are looking for an individual with passion for building long-term client relationships and the ability to grow a practice within a supportive branch team.
Key Responsibilities
Build relationships to create new clients via face‑to‑face and virtual sourcing strategies (residential, business, networking, introductions and referrals, social media, and speaking engagements).
Deeply understand clients’ and prospective clients’ needs, priorities, and concerns to accelerate trust and create personalized, comprehensive strategies that help them achieve their goals.
Oversee branch processes, roles, and responsibilities to ensure a high‑quality, streamlined client experience consistent with firm policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical guidelines.
Engage the branch team to create, monitor, and adjust the branch business plan to increase effectiveness and achieve desired business results.
Create a highly engaging environment in the branch that fosters mutual trust, respect, feedback, and accountability.
Qualifications and Skills
Interest in financial services/markets and how they work.
A love of learning and challenges, including determination to succeed.
Skill in long‑term relationship building.
Comfortable thinking critically.Passion for new opportunities.
A bachelor's degree strongly preferred or equivalent work‑related experience within the securities/financial services industry.
Financial services and/or sales experience.
Financial services registration, licensing, or certification.
Professional and/or military career progression.
Required Licenses and Registration
SIE (obtainable without firm sponsorship), Series 7, and Series 66 required; registrations may be obtained at Edward Jones during the assigned paid study period if not currently registered.
FINRA registrations required within three months; state insurance licenses required.
Ongoing training required: finishing regular CE and regulatory training to keep licenses in good standing.
Compensation
Trainee pay and a supplemental salary for up to five years before transitioning to the full compensation structure.
Commission, profit‑sharing, and incentive travel opportunities tied to performance.
Supplemental starting salary range: $45,000 – $100,000.
