## Line CookSocial Circle, Georgia, US (NCG/MWG) · Full-time#### About The PositionPosition SummaryThe Line Cook at Yarszin-Sella is responsible for preparing high-quality meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and presentation standards. This role plays a critical part in ensuring timely service, consistency, and an exceptional dining experience for all guests.Key Responsibilities* Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards* Set up and stock assigned kitchen stations with all necessary supplies* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and equipment* Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with health and safety regulations* Monitor food inventory and communicate shortages or needs to kitchen leadership* Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure efficient and timely service* Follow proper food handling, storage, and rotation procedures (FIFO)* Assist with prep work, including chopping, portioning, and marinating ingredients* Maintain a positive and professional attitude in a high-pressure environmentQualifications* Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar kitchen role preferred* Knowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety standards* Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality* Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to [X] pounds* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as neededCore Competencies* Teamwork and collaboration* Time management and efficiency* Adaptability and problem-solving* Commitment to cleanliness and safety* Consistency and attention to detailWork Environment* Fast-paced kitchen setting with exposure to heat, noise, and sharp equipment* Requires standing, bending, and frequent movement* Opportunity to work with a dynamic culinary team* Growth and development within the organization* Commitment to quality, service, and team culture#### RequirementsPosition Requirements (Minimum Qualifications)**Experience:**Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in a commercial kitchen, restaurant, catering, or food service environment* Experience working on a line during high-volume service strongly preferred**Education/Certifications:**High school diploma or equivalent preferred* Current Food Handler Certification required (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)* ServSafe Certification preferred**Technical Skills:**Proficiency in basic cooking techniques (grilling, sautéing, frying, roasting, and knife skills)* Ability to read and follow standardized recipes and production sheets* Knowledge of food safety standards, including proper food temperatures and cross-contamination prevention**Physical Requirements:**Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8–10 hours per shift)* Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds regularly* Ability to work in a hot, humid, and fast-paced kitchen environment* Manual dexterity to safely operate kitchen equipment (knives, slicers, grills, fryers, etc.)**Work Schedule Requirements:**Availability to work flexible schedules, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays* Ability to work overtime as needed based on business demand**Behavioral Competencies:**Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and consistency* Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment* Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure* Strong time management and organizational skills
