Role Overview
The position ensures stable, compliant, and resilient IT service delivery by providing governance oversight across incident, change, risk, continuity, and regulatory domains. The role is a key control function interface between IT, business stakeholders, group service providers, and regulators, with strong accountability for operational stability, ICT risk management, and audit readiness.
Responsibilities
IT Service Governance & Operational Stability
Lead Incident and Problem Management governance, including Major Incident handling and regulatory reporting.
Drive root‑cause‑based service improvement initiatives to reduce recurring incidents and improve reliability.
Oversee Release & Change Management governance, ensuring alignment with bank‑wide controls and compliance requirements.
Support capacity management, planned service outage governance, and overall service reliability frameworks.
Serve as escalation point between IT teams, group providers, and business stakeholders, ensuring timely resolution and structured communication.
ICT Risk, Compliance & Regulatory Readiness
Take part in ICT Risk Assessments, acting as Operational Risk Responsible for IT services.
Ensure risks are identified, documented, assessed, mitigated and tracked in line with operational risk frameworks.
Contribute to DORA compliance implementation, including process mapping, gap analysis and strengthening ICT governance controls.
Maintain KPI governance, ensuring accurate, meaningful reporting for senior management and control functions.
Audit & Control Management
Support regulatory and internal audits end to end, including:
Evidence preparation and documentation
Auditor coordination
Control gap analysis
Remediation action planning and tracking
Drive closure of audit findings through cross‑team coordination and improved evidence readiness.
Implement and maintain IT policies and governance frameworks, ensuring adherence across IT and delivery teams.
ICT Continuity & Disaster Recovery
Coordinate ICT Continuity and Disaster Recovery preparedness in alignment with group standards and regulatory expectations.
Support DR documentation, scenario preparation and governance maturity improvements.
Stakeholder Engagement & IT Awareness
Translate complex IT governance, risk and compliance topics into clear, accessible guidance for non‑technical stakeholders.
Communicate effectively with senior management, control functions, auditors and service providers.
Contribute to project delivery methodology governance and broader digital governance initiatives.
Qualifications
University degree
Confident English language skills, both spoken and written
Strong experience in IT service governance , ICT risk management or technology controls, ideally in banking or regulated environments
Solid understanding of ITIL‑based processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Release, Capacity)
Experience supporting regulatory audits and supervisory expectations
Familiarity with
DORA ,
ICT
resilience and operational risk frameworks
Ability to operate as a bridge between technical, risk and business teams
Excellent stakeholder management, communication and escalation‑handling skills
