SERVICE ATTENDANT JOB DESCRIPTION
Reports to: Food and Beverage Manager | FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, Full-Time or Part-Time
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Guest Attendant will service the guest's requests on the golf simulators and food and beverage needs. They will deliver food, drinks, condiments, and other requests to the customers. They will also be responsible for clearing dishes and other items from service areas and assisting the barkeeper with daily duties.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
FOOD AND BEVERAGE
Interact with customers and serve food and drinks
Restock and replenish inventory and supplies
Stay guest-focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
Comply with all food and beverage regulations
Keep areas clean and tidy
Credit card handling as needed
Communicate effectively with Cooks and Barkeepers
Adhere to all Alpen Bluffs standard open and close procedures
Adhere to Alpen Bluffs policies and procedures
Complete end-of-shift transaction report
Enters food and drink orders accurately into the restaurant POS system
Complete expo services from the kitchen
Other duties as assigned
GOLF SIMULATOR RESPONSILITIES
Check in guests for golf simulators and guide guests to their bay
Administer golf club rentals
Ensure golf simulators are functioning properly
Ensure all rental clubs are properly cared for and returned
Merchandise rack open and close
Clean and reset golf simulators
Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
At least 16 years of age
Some food service knowledge
Computer Literacy
Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
Ability to keep areas organized, stocked and clean
Comfortable handling payment from guests if needed
Ability to work as a team
Calm demeanor to work in a fast-paced environment
