This position requires the ability to think on your feet and will be a helper who will cover many duties. Some knowledge of basic tools, hoses, and janitorial duties will be required.
**Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities*** Rent river tubes for the town stretch of the Deschutes River.* Help customers with the logistics of floating the river, where put-ins, take-outs, and shuttles are.* Wash, rinse, hang dry, and rotate life jackets and helmets between trips.* Coordinate with the Reservations staff on the rental of tubes.* Assist guests with the loading and unloading of the equipment.* Perform minor repairs as directed by the Manager or Supervisor.* Clean the shop floor and wipe down counters, tables, and chairs.* Keep an accurate list of rentals and returns.**Job Scope**Assist the Manager and the Supervisor in performing assigned tasks as outlined above.**Interpersonal Contacts**Assist bus drivers, guides, and guests with the loading and unloading of equipment. Communicate with the Reservations Staff on all aspects of rentals.**What We’re Looking For*** Strong leadership and communication skills.* Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team.* Organized, self-motivated, and reliable.* Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.* Physically capable of moving equipment throughout the shift.* Proficient in POS systems (training provided).**Specific Job Skills*** **Technical:** Limited knowledge of hand tools.* **Physical Capabilities:** Be able to lift up to 50 pounds.* **Additional:** Maintains a professional attitude, supporting the vision of Mt.
