Float Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT)
Location: Lubbock, TX.

Compensation and Schedule

Starting Salary: $65,239 - $94,567 annually

Float Stipend: $12,500

IA Stipend: $2,080

Sign-On Bonus: $12,500

Schedule: 10 days on / 10 days off

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, repairs and provide regular status updates to the Lead Technician.

Manage inventory checks to ensure adequate stock of supplies and equipment, update the equipment tracking log, place replacement requests, and document part expenditures.

Document service paperwork and FAA information as required, and adhere to company policies and information security standards.

Maintain a safe and clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.

Facilitate coordination of efforts between departments, vendors, and team members using appropriate communication methods.

Collaborate professionally with all allied health, public safety personnel, fellow AMTs, and the operations team.

Minimum Required Qualifications

Bell 407 and EC135 maintenance experience.

At least three years of turbine helicopter maintenance experience with a minimum of six months of helicopter maintenance experience during the last 24 months.

Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.

Valid state‑issued driver’s license.

High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations.

Experience with EMS systems, aircraft maintenance systems, records, and maintenance support and planning.

Ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime and 24/7 on‑call rotations.

Acceptance of FAA drug and alcohol testing program.

Ability to push/pull 100+ lbs.

Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

FAA Inspection Authorization certification.

Related experience under CFR Part 135.

Autopilot maintenance experience.

Avionics and electrical repair experience.
