Essential Job Functions
Responsible for overseeing front desk duties during the night shift including check‑in and check‑out, reviewing guest payments and other details from the day shift to ensure guests provided payment for their stay or any additional requests and acting as a point of communication for customer needs.
Check figures, postings, and documents for accuracy.
Record, store, access, and/or analyze computerized financial information.
Control and secure cash and cash equivalents for property according to cash handling policy and procedures.
Audit and reconcile all revenue postings.
You will reconcile arrivals and departures while processing financial transactions to ensure payment is received.
You will resolve guest concerns to ensure total guest satisfaction.
You will be well‑versed in emergency procedures and act as the manager on duty alongside overnight security.
Balance rooms daily.
Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
Perform any other job related duties as assigned.
Required Skills / Abilities
A minimum of one year of experience as a hotel night auditor is required.
Must have the ability to communicate in English.
Marriott brand, service, and systems knowledge is highly preferred.
