Position Overview
This hybrid role combines CAD drafting with day‑to‑day operational support. You'll translate field measurements and customer needs into clear drawings while supporting quoting, customer communication, and shop coordination. It's best suited for someone early in their career who wants to learn the business end‑to‑end — not just sit behind a screen.
Key Responsibilities
Produce and revise 2D CAD drawings for fabricated parts and assemblies
Convert field measurements and customer sketches into fabrication‑ready drawings
Support quoting, order entry, and customer communication
Answer phones and assist with day‑to‑day customer needs
Coordinate with shop and warehouse to keep projects moving
Maintain organized drawing files and documentation
Qualifications
Working knowledge of AutoCAD, DraftSight, SolidWorks, or similar
Technical certificate, associate degree, or equivalent hands‑on experience preferred
Willingness to wear many hats — no task is beneath you
Detail‑oriented, reliable, and a clear communicator
Interest in manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial operations
