Position Description
Ryder is immediately hiring Permanent Full-Time Welcome Center Associates in Rancho Cordova, CA.
Pay & Schedule
Hourly Pay: $22.00 per hour
Additional Pay: $1.00 per hour when working second or third shift
Schedules:
Monday‑Friday 3 pm to 11 pm
Monday‑Friday 11 pm to 7 am

Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
1–2 years experience in freight coordination, scheduling, or planning
Excellent time‑management skills and strong organization
High proficiency in Microsoft programs
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Positive, example‑setting attitude
Ability to maintain a sense of urgency and communicate effectively
Other duties as assigned
Important Note
Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check; a road test; and/or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.
Responsibilities
Maintain the Welcome Center attendant log of vehicle arrivals and departures
Check inbound and outbound seals on vehicles
Communicate effectively with management regarding welcome center issues
Interact with drivers and visitors politely and professionally
Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for freight check‑in and check‑out
Monitor CCTV equipment and notify management of any occurrences
Depending on location, operate equipment and obtain operator certification if required
Other duties as assigned
