Position:
Lecturer of Accounting (Full Time, Non‑Tenure Track)
Summary:
Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a full‑time, non‑tenure track faculty position as Lecturer of Accounting in the School of Accountancy with a preferred start date of January 2027. This is a nine‑month contracted position and is for work to be performed in the state of Georgia.
Responsibilities
Teach undergraduate courses in the area of accounting.
Quality service and other intellectual contribution components are expected.
Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.
Required Qualifications
A minimum of a Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in accounting, tax, or another accounting‑related field from an AACSB accredited institution is required at the time of hire.
OR
A minimum of a Master’s degree, or the foreign equivalent, in a non‑related discipline with at least 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline is required at the time of hire.
AND
A current professional certification in accounting (e.g., CPA, CIA, CMA) together with at least five (5) years of relevant business experience (financial, managerial accounting, auditing, etc.) is required.
