Job Details
Shift Options: Sunday 1:30 p.m. – complete and Monday–Thursday 3:30 p.m. until complete. Sunday 5:30 p.m. – complete and Monday–Thursday 6:30 p.m. until complete. This role supports Cencora’s distribution services in the U.S. through our AmerisourceBergen business.

Responsibilities
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for hiring, terminating, directing, and evaluating associates. The supervisor oversees functional areas such as receiving, shipping, returns, picking, packing, checking, stocking, order filling, and management of the cage/vault. Additionally, they verify and record outgoing shipments of controlled substances, maintain safety guidelines, and manage RF devices.

Directs workflow, motivates, trains, and monitors performance of warehouse associates.

Monitors work processes, proposes modifications to increase productivity & efficiency, and implements changes.

Supports compliance with policies, procedures, safety rules, and DEA regulations.

Coaches employees to support their development.

Additional Supervisory Duties

Supervises receipt of merchandise and ensures only distribution‑center products are accepted.

Oversees staff counting, weighing, and identifying shipped items and checks materials against invoices and orders.

Oversees order filling, double‑checking, and shipping of controlled substances with cage/vault clerks.

Maintains records of delivery process, including time, date, quantity, source, and destination.

Ensures accurate manifests of routes and departures so customers receive merchandise promptly.

May interact with customers to resolve delivery or order‑filling issues.

Maintains highly detailed records documenting incoming and outgoing controlled substances.

Tracks attendance, monitors performance, and manages overtime.

Performs related duties as assigned.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, sales, marketing, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent combination of experience and education.

Work Experience

Minimum two years of directly related and progressively responsible experience.

Skills and Knowledge

Effective oral and written communication as a leader.

Good decision‑making skills.

Basic mathematical skills.

Good analytical and organizational skills; attention to detail.

Leadership and coaching abilities.

Interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of warehouse operations.

Proficiency with Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.

Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships and teamwork.

Proficiency operating a reach truck (required).

Willingness to work extended hours, weekend on‑call rotation, and emergency service as needed.

Willingness to participate in scheduled physical inventory.

Compensation
Full time. Salary range: $57,900 – $85,360 (national average; actual range may vary by location and state).
