Responsibilities
Under the general supervision of the Plant Operations Director, the Maintenance Technician performs skilled work relating to the maintenance of all facility buildings, properties, systems, and plant equipment.

Performs proactive maintenance, safety, and operational testing and documentation of all designated systems and equipment. Interacts with a wide variety of personnel in all departments of the company.

Position assists with maintenance functions at the Cedar Ridge Bethany location as needed.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required

Associate’s degree from a college or technical/trade school preferred

One (1) to Three (3) Years of experience in the Fundamentals of HVAC, Automotive Repair, Maintenance, Plumbing, Electrical & Construction preferred

Two (2) Years of experience in facility maintenance preferred

Additional Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age, required

Successfully complete a drug test

Successfully pass national background check

Valid Drivers License required

Must be able to work 8 hours day, standing and walking for prolonged periods

May be required to work occasional overtime and flexible hours

Maintain a clean environment for patients at all times

Exposure to psychiatric patients who may exhibit violent/aggressive behavior

Potential for exposure to communicable diseases, blood/body fluids and other hazardous waste
