Our client is seeking a
Echocardiology Technician
to perform high‑quality cardiac ultrasound examinations in an acute‑care environment, supporting accurate diagnosis and timely patient care. This role works closely with cardiologists and clinical teams while maintaining a strong focus on patient safety, image quality, and workflow efficiency.
Onsite | No Visa Sponsorship | No Relocation Assistance
Work Schedule:
Monday–Friday | 6:30AM–5PM | Call Rotation (approximately 50/50 nights and weekends)
Responsibilities
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Participate in call rotations, including nights and weekends.
Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Educate and prepare patients for procedures, promoting comfort and cooperation.
Administer contrast media when ordered and monitor patient status throughout the exam.
Analyze imaging results, identify quality issues, and repeat or adjust studies as needed.
Accurately document findings, enter reports, and transmit imaging results in a timely manner.
Perform echocardiograms and related cardiac ultrasound procedures in accordance with professional standards and departmental protocols.
Review patient histories and provider orders to ensure appropriate imaging and patient safety.
Qualifications (Must-Haves)
Carotid ultrasound training (preferred)
Cardiac Sonography training (required)
Associate's degree in a related field (preferred)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
Excellent communication and patient‑care skills.
Strong critical‑thinking and clinical judgment skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Commitment to accuracy, safety, and high‑quality imaging.
Comfortable in fast‑paced, high‑stress clinical environments.
Echo Registry certification (preferred); registry‑eligible candidates considered with requirement to obtain certification within one year.
