We are seeking a dedicated Cook to join our team at a large senior living community in Helena Pointe. Come join a team of dedicated, smart, and caring professionals as they work together to care for our seniors and provide them the lifestyle they deserve.
Job Description
Out cooks prepare high-quality meals in accordance with food health and safety regulations, as well as company standards. To be a successful cook, you will be quick and diligent and be able to follow instruction and work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Assists in maintaining a well-organized and efficient food service department
Demonstrates a complete understanding of all basic food production skill sets with the ability to perform these error-free and meet the company quality standards
Prepares and serves attractive, nutritious meals in an organized manner
Qualifications
Minimum of one (1) year experience in a similar position.
Experience and/or knowledge of meal preparation for large groups preferred.
Safe food handling techniques are required.
Ability to read and understand recipes.
Work in a team environment.
Work flexible shifts.
Handle multiple tasks at one time and communicate effectively verbally and/or in writing.
What we offer
$21 per hour with opportunity for raises and career growth.
This is a scratch kitchen with menus developed weekly.
Work one on one with our Executive Chef and S.O. to help creativity and diversity with menu.
