
Strategic Partnership Lead, JP Morgan Private Bank

Job responsibilities
Lead the evaluation, negotiation, and execution of strategic inorganic opportunities for our Private Bank organization
Collaboratively develop our book of work and pipeline of opportunities with key Private Bank stakeholders
Lead key elements of the inorganic strategy, including analysis of the competitive landscape, leading diligence, and making recommendations
Lead presentations and proposals to senior executives across Wealth Management and the Private Bank
Lead relationships with external companies and stakeholders, acting as the lead point of contact for JPMorgan
Develop and deliver specific partner proposals with the lines of business, including overall vision, partnership economics, and product integration
Work with finance, legal and other functional partners to develop business cases, deal constructs and other key terms associated with partnerships
Monitor external environment for important competitive developments and potential partnership opportunities and share perspectives with key line of business partners
Ensure all deals are executed in accordance with firmwide policies, controls and procedures
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
3+ years' experience in strategic partnership and/or strategy roles. Candidate must have at least 5 years of experience
Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, team-oriented, cross functional environment
Ability to lead and own the end-to-end process to execute strategic partnerships and deals, including negotiation, business casing, and se
Comfort and experience in being an independent contributor
Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
Exceptional oral and written communication skills
Organized, detail-oriented, with strong project management ability
Proven ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Experience and comfort presenting to senior management
Proficient MS Excel and PowerPoint skills
BS degree or equivalent experience required
MBA degree preferred
Prior experience working with FinTechs or WealthTechs
Familiarity with the venture and fundraising ecosystem
Prior experience in Wealth Management and/or Private Banking or Family Offices
Prior experience working with or supporting High-Net Worth clients and/or Family Offices
