Trillium Staffing is now seeking Quality Inspectors in Valencia, CA!
The Quality Inspector is responsible for performing receiving, in-process, and final inspections to ensure products meet engineering, customer, and regulatory requirements. This role serves as a critical quality gate within regulated manufacturing environments supporting Aerospace, Defense, Medical, and Semiconductor customers.
Schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM. Pay rate: $20-28 DOE.
Key Responsibilities
Under general supervision, the Quality Inspector is responsible for performing inspection and documentation tasks to ensure integrity of product and components.
Issuing Certificates of Conformance (C of C) as required.
Interpreting drawings, standards, procedures, test data, and documenting results.
Utilizing inspection tools such as CMM, Keyence, calipers, micrometers, and templates.
Documenting and escalating to respective departments when product is non-conforming.
Documenting results of inspections using First Article Report AS9102, Company Dimensional Report, copies of CMM report or written results in the job order.
Updating and maintaining Master Calibration List, including performing calibration of inspection tools and coordinating with outside calibration as applicable.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills
Demonstrated knowledge in blueprint reading and geometrical tolerances.
Strong knowledge in using hand‑held inspection tools and templates.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to apply a general understanding to carry out detailed, written, and oral instructions.
Ability to deal with and solve problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Demonstrated understanding of manufacturing methods and related systems.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to deal effectively with individuals at all levels.
Working knowledge of ERP software, MRP, scheduling and planning systems, MS Office.
Preferred Skills
Prior experience with CMM inspection and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
Prior experience with ISO 9001 Standards and AS9102.
Education Requirements
High School Degree or General Education Degree; or 2-3 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
