Project Manager - Substation

The Opportunity
Project Manager for Substation responsible for HV, MV, and LV services projects, including underground and overhead transmission lines. May also own projects in distribution, private networks, and BESS. This role requires approximately 10% travel to project sites.
Key Responsibilities
Actively promote the safety culture.
Respond to RFPs and prepare proposals for services work.
Lead project team in conceptual design and procurement phases of substation projects.
Manage schedule, budget, and scope of services projects.
Interface between the client, external stakeholders, and internal stakeholders to ensure project success.
Ability to work in both corporate and field environments.
Preferred Qualifications
10+ years of relevant industry experience including high-voltage, medium-voltage, and low-voltage substations.
Experience in multiple phases of project execution.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a relevant degree.
PE, P.Eng or equivalent professional license.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Work Environment / Physical Demands
Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days of employment based on manager discretion, job performance, and work assignments.
Typical office environment, construction environment, extreme weather conditions, high noise level, safety hazards (electric currents, working on scaffolding and high places, exposure to chemicals), atmospheric conditions (fumes, odors, dusts, mists, gases, poor ventilation).
Must sit, walk, talk, hear, read, write, keyboard, drive, file, reach, stoop, crouch, bend, stand for extended periods, lift or carry up to 40 pounds.
