As a Family Office Advisor, you will be instrumental in shaping the financial futures of our firm's most strategic clients. You will lead and cultivate deep, enduring relationships, serving a select portfolio of 8‑12 families – a client‑to‑advisor ratio meticulously designed to ensure dedicated attention and truly exceptional, white‑glove service. Key Responsibilities
Strategic Client Leadership:
Function as the primary point of contact and lead advisor for a select group of ultra‑high net worth families, orchestrating comprehensive financial strategies tailored to their unique needs.
Integrated Advisory & Coordination:
Seamlessly manage and integrate advice from a network of internal and external professionals (including attorneys, accountants, and bankers) to ensure cohesive and optimal client outcomes.
Advanced Financial Analysis:
Prepare and critically review sophisticated financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, and cash‑flow statements) to uncover trends, identify opportunities, and proactively address challenges.
Proactive Tax & Estate Planning:
Develop and execute advanced tax efficiency strategies, ensuring compliance while maximizing wealth preservation. Collaborate with T&E attorneys to design and implement robust estate plans that facilitate efficient wealth transfer and minimize tax liabilities.
Holistic Risk Management:
Design and implement comprehensive risk mitigation strategies through sophisticated insurance planning, safeguarding client assets and legacies.
Dynamic Liquidity & Cash Flow Management:
Analyze and optimize complex cash‑flow dynamics, ensuring robust liquidity and strategic financial positioning for our clients.
Impactful Philanthropic Advisory:
Partner with clients to craft and implement impactful philanthropic strategies, including charitable giving and foundation planning, optimizing tax efficiency and maximizing societal benefit.
Sophisticated Investment Oversight:
Monitor, analyze, and report on diverse investment portfolios, including alternative investments, ensuring alignment with client objectives, and collaborating with internal and external managers to optimize performance.
Skills and Experience We Are Looking For
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. An advanced degree (e.g., MST, MBA, JD, CPA, CFP) is required. FINRA SIE, Series 7 and Series 66 preferred; required within 4 months of hire.
Experience:
Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in financial planning, tax, consulting, or a related field, with significant exposure to single or multi‑family office environments.
Expertise:
Deep knowledge and practical application of complex financial planning concepts, including advanced tax planning, intricate estate planning, and sophisticated investment management.
Leadership & Influence:
Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships, lead high‑performing teams, and influence outcomes across a diverse stakeholder group.
Communication:
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and project management skills, capable of articulating complex strategies with clarity and precision.
Integrity:
Unwavering commitment to confidentiality and the discreet handling of sensitive client information.

Salary Range
The expected base salary for this Chicago, Illinois, United States‑based position is $85,000‑$240,000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year‑end.
